Lemon Garlic Cream Sauce
This quick and easy recipe features sautéed shallots and garlic combined with rich chicken broth and cream. It is perfect for chicken or white fish.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp shallot, minced
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/4 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp corn starch - optional
1/2 tsp each parsley and thyme
2 tbsp lemon juice
Salt & pepper
Instructions:
Cook shallot and garlic in a medium sized sauce pan over medium heat until soft and fragrant.
Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
Slowly add the cream while stirring.
Add the corn starch and stir.
Add the parsley, thyme, salt and pepper.
Allow it to simmer, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
Once it’s thickened add lemon juice and serve.
