Teriyaki Marinade

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • ¼ cup pineapple or orange juice

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp ginger, minced

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water


Combine all ingredients, except cornstarch. Marinate chicken for 1-2 hours. Thicken remaining marinade by heating it with cornstarch and water to create a savory glaze to brush over the cooked chicken.
