Spiced Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pure maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract



1. Combine maple syrup and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir to combine.

2. Stir in ground cinnamon and bring to a gentle simmer.

3. Cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the syrup to slightly thicken but not boil.

4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
