Spiced Chai Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 chai tea bags

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

  1. Combine water and sugar and a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

  2. Add chai tea bags and simmer for about 5 minutes.

  3. Remove tea bags, stir in ground cinnamon and cardamom and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool.

  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
