Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 cup canned pumpkin puree

  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

  2. Add the pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice. Stir until well combined.

  3. Simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the syrup to thicken slightly.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. Let the syrup cool, then strain through a mesh sieve to remove any pumpkin solids.

  6. Store in a glass jar with lid in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
