Pumpkin Spice Syrup
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup canned pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
Add the pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice. Stir until well combined.
Simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the syrup to thicken slightly.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Let the syrup cool, then strain through a mesh sieve to remove any pumpkin solids.
Store in a glass jar with lid in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
