Berry Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups frozen or fresh berries of your choosing (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)

Add all the ingredients to a sauce pan over medium-low heat. Cook until sugar has dissolved. (about 5-8 minutes) Do not try to smush the berries - it can make the syrup more bitter. Set aside to cool completely. Once cooled, strain out the berries. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
